Time to Boycott Frommer

Apparently Arthur Frommer, of Frommer’s Guide fame, is now boycotting the state of Arizona. Why? Because someone had the temerity to exercise their Second Amendment rights. According to Fox News, Mr. Frommer’s blog states he was:

“…’shocked beyond measure’ by reports that protesters openly carried guns and rifles outside a Phoenix building where President Barack Obama spoke on Monday.”

The article goes on to state:

“…he won't be spending his tourism dollars at the Grand Canyon, or anywhere else in Arizona, because the state's laws allow people he described as "thugs" and "extremists" to openly carry firearms.”

I don’t know if I still have any Frommer’s Guides hanging around, but I’ve got half a mind to hunt for any, box them up, and include a copy of the Constitution and some analysis of the Second Amendment thereto. Say what you will about the means of protest, certainly it’s “in your fact”, but people in America still have the right to keep and bear arms. If anything, the recent incidents have shown us who really believes that and who just plays lip service to the concept.

Until next time!!!
